This agreement is between you and Reisen AI Ltd, trading as Quillo, and governs your use of the Quillo mobile app. By downloading, installing or using Quillo you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
You may use Quillo on your own devices for personal, non-commercial cooking and meal planning. Recipes, nutrition figures and food waste savings are generated automatically and are estimates, so always check ingredients and allergens yourself. Subscriptions are billed and refunded by Apple or Google. You keep ownership of anything you add. We keep ownership of the app. Your statutory rights as a UK consumer are not affected.
This summary is for convenience only. The full terms below are what apply.
This agreement should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Where this agreement and the Store's standard licence conflict, this agreement applies to the extent permitted by the Store.
In this agreement:
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal and non-commercial use, in line with this agreement and the Store's usage rules.
You must not:
The app is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights, title and interest in the app, including its design, code, recipe content, images and the Quillo name and logo.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or the minimum age set by the law of your country if that is higher. In some EU countries that age is 16. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to this agreement on your behalf, and any Premium purchase must be made or approved by them.
You can sign up with an email address, Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at supportquillo@reisenai.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
Your dietary requirements, allergies, household size and other preferences shape what the app shows you. Keep them accurate. We rely on what you tell us.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion removes your account and personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting the app from your device does not cancel a Premium subscription. You must cancel it through the Store.
The free version includes 2 receipt scans per calendar month and is supported by advertising. A scan only counts against your allowance if at least 3 food ingredients are successfully read. Unused scans do not roll over.
Premium removes adverts and unlocks unlimited scans and the features listed in the app at the time you subscribe.
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| Monthly | £4.99 per month |
| Annual | £44.99 per year |
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Outside the UK you will be charged the local equivalent shown in the Store, including any local taxes. The price you pay is the one shown in the Store at purchase.
All payments are processed by Apple or Google, not by us. Their payment terms apply to your purchase. We never see or store your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You will be charged within 24 hours before renewal.
Cancel at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period.
Refund requests are handled by the Store under its own policy. We cannot issue refunds directly. Contact us if you need help and we will point you to the right place.
Under UK and EU consumer law, and similar laws in some other countries, you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase. By starting Premium immediately you agree that it begins straight away and acknowledge that you lose this 14-day right, or any equivalent right under your local law, once the service has started, to the extent the law allows. This does not affect your rights if Premium is faulty or not as described.
If we change the Premium price, we will tell you in advance and the Store will ask for your consent where it requires it. The new price applies from your next renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before then.
We may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove a core Premium feature you have paid for, you may request a refund through the Store.
Please read this section carefully. Quillo uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to read receipts and generate recipes. These systems are useful but not perfect.
Dietary and allergy filters are applied on a best-efforts basis and can be wrong. A receipt may be misread, an ingredient may be described inaccurately, or a product may contain something its name does not suggest. Always check product labels and ingredient lists yourself. If you have a severe allergy or a medical dietary requirement, do not rely on Quillo alone to keep you safe.
Halal, kosher, vegetarian, vegan and similar settings filter recipes by their ingredients. They cannot confirm how a specific product was sourced, certified or prepared. Check certification on the packaging where it matters to you.
Recipes may be generated or adapted automatically and are not individually tested by a chef. Quantities, timings and steps may occasionally be wrong. Use common sense in the kitchen, and always:
Smart Pantry freshness indicators are estimates based on when an item was scanned and typical shelf life. They are not use-by or best-before dates. The date printed on the packaging always takes priority.
Nutritional values are estimates from recipe data and automated calculation, labelled as estimated where applicable. They depend on the exact products and portions you use. They are provided for general information only and are not medical, dietary or health advice. Speak to a doctor or registered dietitian before making changes for a medical reason.
Money saved and food waste avoided are illustrative estimates based on your scans, your household size and published national averages. They are not a precise measurement of your actual spending or waste.
Receipt images, recipes you add, notes and preferences remain yours. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the app for you, including sending it to service providers who process it on our behalf.
Receipts can show more than food. Only scan receipts that belong to you or that you have permission to use. We use receipt images to extract ingredients, and we keep them only for as long as described in our Privacy Policy.
If a future version lets you add your own recipes, you confirm that anything you upload is your own work or that you have the right to use it. Do not upload recipes copied from cookbooks, websites or other sources you do not own. We may remove content that infringes someone else's rights.
We may use aggregated, anonymised information, such as total food waste avoided across all users or popular searches, to improve Quillo and to publish general insights. This information never identifies you.
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
Quillo integrates with third party APIs and services to deliver certain features. These services are operated by third parties and are subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third party services. If you would like further detail about the third party services we use, please contact us at supportquillo@reisenai.com.
The free tier shows adverts served by a third party advertising partner. Where required, we ask for your consent before showing personalised adverts, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings. Premium removes adverts.
Supermarket and brand names appear only to describe receipts you scan. Quillo is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any retailer.
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that is faulty or not as described. Citizens Advice can explain them. Nothing in this agreement affects those rights.
We will provide the app with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error free, or that every receipt will be read correctly. Features may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
You can stop using Quillo at any time by deleting your account and the app. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break this agreement, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the app. Where reasonable, we will give you notice first.
Your licence ends and you must stop using the app. Sections 1.4, 4, 5.4, 6 and 8 continue to apply. If we end the app entirely while you hold an active Premium subscription, we will give you reasonable notice so you can cancel, and you may request a refund for any unused period through the Store.
The following also applies:
Your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Where they conflict with this agreement, the Google Play terms apply to the extent of the conflict. Google is not responsible for the app, its content, support or any claims relating to it.
We may update this agreement from time to time, for example to reflect new features or changes in the law. We will tell you about significant changes in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Quillo after that, the updated agreement applies. If you do not agree, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under this agreement to another organisation, and will tell you if we do. Your rights under this agreement will not be affected. You may not transfer your rights to anyone else.
If a court decides that any part of this agreement is invalid, the rest continues in full effect.
If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
Except for Apple as set out in section 7.1, no one other than you and us has any right to enforce this agreement.
This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protection given by the mandatory consumer law of your country.
Please contact us first so we can try to put things right. We aim to respond to all complaints within 14 days.
